Free publicity for student projects

KUALA LUMPUR - YouthsToday CEO Jazz Tan Yee Mei said the online platform provides students with free space for announcements.
She said this will enable them to reach a bigger audience including people from outside their campus.
“We provide sponsorship opportunities for the student events listed on our website,” Tan said.
Points are allocated to people who share, attend, volunteer or participate in the event, encouraging youngsters to join them.
These points can be used to exchange for rewards such as Starbucks cards, H&M cash vouchers and pen drives.
YouthsToday also lists events for students such as workshops, charity events, concerts and competitions to advocate healthy hobbies and activities among the young.
“We encourage youths to join in the events to keep them off the streets,” she added.
Previously, the Taylor’s University Youth to Business Forum managed to obtain 2,243 shares through YouthsToday.
Events that are posted can be viewed by close to 20,000 registered members.
Promoting student activities are free of charge as the website is backed by several major corporations such as Maybank and DiGi.
