Club Wins RM200 Ad Budget in Caption Contest

SUBANG JAYA – Sky Adventure Club (SAC) emerged as the victor of the Taylor’s University (TU) Club and Society Contest that ran from 18 to 29 Aug.

The club won RM200 to promote themself on TU’s official Facebook page. Membership director of SAC Yeoh Eening, 21, a public relations and event management major said the club has not planned on how to use it yet.

“My club has not discussed about how the budget will be spent yet, but our next event will be the Bubble Futsal Competition,” she said.

The contest was organised by TU’s official Facebook page and ran on Facebook and Instagram where different clubs and societies on TU’s campus competed to write the best photo caption story.

‘We went through ups and downs but once again we manage to pull it through. This is how I spell family, S.A.C. – Phaik Yan” was just one of the captions found under the #TaylorsClubs tag.

The SAC is known for organizing thrilling, exciting experiences that caters to the adventurous community.

“The next activity would be the orientation camp for our new recruits. It’s not fixed yet but it's proposed to be done at Chiling waterfalls,” Yeoh said, keeping true to their motto, ‘Let Us Dare’.
