Desserts for less than RM10 in Subang Jaya

University students always get heavy workloads whichworkloads, which get them stressed. And when you read the word ‘stressed’ in the opposite  directionopposite direction, it spells ‘desserts’. Therefore, whenever you feel stressed, go get some desserts to make you feel better!  The next time you have a long break between classes, try visiting some of the cafes in Subang Jaya to enjoy some sweet treats. Here are some desserts that you can get for less than RM10.

Cendol SS15

The cendol here is different from other places. It has a great amount of red beans and the richest coconut milk (santan) and brown sugar (gula melaka) flavourflavour. It is really refreshing and perfect to beat the hot weather.  Although the amount of cendol is not much, for the price of RM1.80, it isn’t half bad.

Fruit Pavlova (RM7.50)

The first time you look at it you will think, “This is so cute! It’s like a big macaron.” Tthis is definitely worth the price because it is really much bigger compared to other desserts. You are advised to share this dessert with your friends. The crust is really soft and it may be a tad too sweet for some.

Berry Strawberry Waffles (RM9.90)

The waffles are served warm with fresh strawberries. It has a great combination of strawberries and ice cream. However, the waffles are not crispy. The presentation is very attractive and the size is just right, perfect for one person. They also serve quality ice cream with a creamy texture.

Banana + Chocolate Pancakes (RM8)

It comes with four layers of pancakes topped with icing sugar and a lot of bananas. Not only are the pancakes fluffy, the bananas are really sweet and fresh as well. It is a very nice combination of banana and chocolate. The first taste was like love at first sight.

Brownies (RM5.50)

The chocolate brownie is served warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top. It is rich with chocolate and is not too sweet. This is definitely recommended for chocolate lovers!

 

Red Velvet Cake (RM8)

This is one of the best red velvet cakes around. The texture of the cake is fluffy and moist.  The pairing of cream cheese and red velvet is just nice.
