TU Library offers E-books for students

SUBANG JAYA – The recently launched E-Book Promotion on Taylor’s Online Library is set to raise awareness and increase the number of students who wish to have a copy of their textbooks.
“Students come to the library hoping to get the hardcopy version of their textbooks but sometimes the library runs out of hardcopies.
“The E-Book Promotion is a big short-cut for students to get hold of those textbooks,” librarian Siti Aisyah Kamaliah Mohamed said.
She added that because each textbook is listed and grouped according to specific programmes and courses, students can easily navigate their way to find their main reading sources.
“The E-Book Promotion not only boosts students’ convenience but the library staff’s as well.
“It saves time for the student. Rather than rushing to put back the books at their respective shelves now they don’t have to wait until that happens,” Siti Aisyah said.
She added that another way students will benefit from this promotion is that it is updated every week.
She added, “Should students find themselves in need of certain textbooks
for their revision or assignments, the necessary softcopies and more are just a click away.”
